The Formula 1 season is over and Nico Rosberg is the well-deserved F1 World Champion 2016! He is the third German after Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel to win the Formula 1 driver’s championship.

From 9th to 10th of July 2016, I had the pleasure to shoot the British Grand Prix, the Formula 1 race in the “Home of British Motorsports” – the Silverstone Circuit (United Kingdom).

I’ve been to F1 races several times before (in Germany and Belgium), but it was my first time visiting the British Grand prix. The whole weekend was definitely a festival-like experience. Lot of action on and aside the track.
